Stairwells by Lina Chang - poetry

She is the guardian of the Cliffside:

into the rays of a dusky morning’s air.

Color spark off as violets and

a war between the darkness and the light.

But peace can be found,

where the face emerges as Aphrodite

About Me

A Little Bit of Me

Angelina Ingrassia Chang, M.A English Language & Literature

I am currently working as a Technical Editor for the team at Value Management Strategies (VMS). My editing work is extremely diverse. Being trained in classical writing while also taught many different style guides, I often work with technical pieces from psychology, electrical engineering, patient advocate material, and health and wellness. Additionally, I also edit magazines, college applications, and personal statements.

I enjoy researching and learning new jargon and concepts to apply to each piece while editing for content, fluidity, approachability, comprehension, complexity, and style. However, my favorite aspect of this work is when I am granted room for creativity in style and approach. My goal with each piece is to tell a story that connects the audience with the writing regardless of the form it takes.

Aside from my professional editing, I enjoy writing in multiple forms. My publications are currently an assortment of poetry, but I also enjoy writing flash fiction, short stories, and novellas.
